Scripture: Galatians 6; Romans 3:23; Romans 5:1-11
The word church (ekklesia in the original language) literally means “the called out ones.” Believers, therefore, are placed in community with others for one reason: because God has called them out of their former ways of life. Everyone in the community is deeply sinful. And everyone has been mercifully placed in community together.
If we truly believe in the love Jesus has for us, in that, He saw us at our worst and still gave Himself up for us that we might have new life, then we can share that same love with others.
